I have spent 4 hours trying to enter lyrics into a song!
I have tried every way I know to do it. Lyrics event list.
Entering note based lyrics. I need them to be in the LEAD SHEET!
What is happening is..I am able to input the note based lyrics by one of the two methods I have described. And for a while it works....but as I get deeper into the song...say bar 65-70.....what ever I type or paste into the Note based lyric box gets put where I have chosen AND somewhere else too. For example line 5! It is doing the same thing in the Edit Lyric event list.....If I go in there and hit insert OR append and paste or type in the lyrics along with the location...say 45-1-0(bar/tick/beat)it will put it there and also some where else...overwriting whatever was already there!
I cant get one damned song done since upgrading to 2016!
This is a deal breaker for me if not resolved. I will go back to 2015. Entering the new way(2016 bar lyrics) does not get them into the lead sheet.

Hi LBL,
I'm heading off to work now. When I get home this evening, I'll have a play around and see if I can reproduce your issue. It's definitely something that PG Music would like to know about.

For note based lyrics, nothing has changed in the way they are entered. Id recommend saving the song as you go along, and then seeing if there is some reproducible issue, in which case please email us the song.
Btw, we will add the new bar based chordsheet lyrics display to the lead sheet.

Peter,
I have emailed a song. I was able to reproduce the same issue in a completely different song and sent that.
Hopefully you can find the problem.
Also, looking forward to the feature of
bar lyrics to leadsheet window. that may solve my issue.

OK,
Found the issue with the line based lyrics and the copy to...
I deleted the interface.bbw file
and it straightened out. I haven't had to do this in years and had almost forgot about it.
Still however, cannot scroll up or down in lead sheet mode.
But at least I can work on new songs now.

OK,
Found the issue with the line based lyrics and the copy to...
I deleted the interface.bbw file
and it straightened out. I haven't had to do this in years and had almost forgot about it. That may be the fix, but it can't be the issue??

Well,
The issues are still there. Same stuff.
Enter lyrics at current bar? Not so much...it randomly goes to a different bar. I am able to get it done through the edit lyrics window by hitting append and pasting in what I want and changing where it is suppose to go to.
This is a little more than annoying!
