I've controlled PT (pre-RB) from a Roland synth .. there has to be a way to connect Sonar as a MIDI sync source.
However, eventually everything has to be in one DAW or another to render. That is why I have said over and over; I use RB until I have a need to move.
If the reason to move outweighs the rendering and ACW features I'll consider it and proceed.
Where I am in the production cycle usually comes into play.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
