Liebe Biab- Freunde,
Als Anfänger wäre ich mal wieder für einen Tipp dankbar. Ich möchte ein count-in von exakt 4 Schlägen base-drum haben und dann in den "normalen" Style wechseln. Ich habe versucht, dies durch einen Style- Wechsel umzusetzen (Takt 1: Style 1; ab Takt 2: Style 2), aber das funktioniert irgendwie nicht bzw. nicht verlässlich. Was mache ich falsch?

Wie immer -> je weniger Infos, desto unklarer die Lösungsmöglichkeiten. Eine Info vom Typ 'funktioniert irgendwie nicht' ermöglicht gerade einmal Antworten wie etwa: 'halt irgendwie anders machen' ...
Und nun?
Wenigstens lässt sich soviel mitteilen -> Count-ins werden üblicherweise in den Count-in Präferenzen eingerichtet - nicht über etwaige Style Wechsel (obwohl das grundsätzlich auch funktioniert).

Hallo Martin,
danke für die Antwort. Meinen Wunsch und mein Problem etwas genauer beschrieben: Ich möchte eine Song- Datei anlegen, in der ausschließlich Schlagzeug spielt. Es sollen exakt 4 Schläge auf der Base drum und danach ein etwas komplexeres Pattern sein. Das Gesamte - also Style 1 und Style 2 - soll als Schleife spielen. Dazu habe ich eine Style1.STY Datei angelegt, in der nur die base drum immer auf die 1 spielt. Weiterhin habe ich eine vorgefundene Style-Datei etwas verändert und als Style2.STY - Datei gespeichert. Ich habe in Takt 1 des Songs Style 1 eingegeben, der prima funktioniert. Dann habe ich in Takt 2 des Songs Style 2 eingegeben, und nun funktioniert es nicht wie gewünscht: Style 1 wird nicht gespielt, sondern nur style 2, und hiervon meistens ein fill. Andererseits, klicke ich mit der Maus auf Takt 1, erscheint im Anzeigefenster Style 1.STY (wird aber nicht gespielt), klicke ich auf Takt 2 erscheint Style2.STY. Auf dem Bildschirm also alles richtig, an den Ohren aber nicht: der stylewechsel wird nicht vollzogen. Wie ist die Lösung? (ich nutze Mac)

Vor jedem Part Marker wird ein Fill gespielt, egal ob nun gerade ein Style Wechsel vorliegt oder nicht. Daher -> einfach den Part Marker in Takt 2 wegklicken, und schon wird kein Fill mehr gespielt.

Hallo zusammen,
ich arbeite seit kurzem mit BiaB und den Real-Tracks überwiegend im Jazz-Bereich. Für den Wechsel zwischen Bossa und Swing sind ein bis zwei Realdrums vorbereitet. Ein entsprechendes Pendant z.B. auf dem Bass habe ich nicht finden können.
Besteht die Möglichkeit, einen Stylewechsel auch mit Realdrums bzw. Realtracks zu erzwingen? Ich konnte dazu leider im Manual nichts entsprechendes finden.
BTW: Ist ein deutsches Handbuch jetzt verfügbar? Bin leider aus den verschiedenen Beiträgen auch nicht so schlau geworden bzw. habe vielleicht das richtige einfach nicht gefunden.

Stylewechsel mit RealTracks werden zurzeit noch nicht unterstützt. Andrew hat jedoch einen Vorschlag für einen -> ' Workaround '.

vielen Dank, das ist eine gute Idee und hilft weiter.
Ein Bild in meiner Signatur ist in der Vorschau der Signatur vorhanden, selbst in der Vorschau des Beitrages, dann hier in der endgültigen Version allerdings nicht. Gehört nicht in dieses Thema, gibt es dazu trotzdem eine Idee? Ich sehe gerade, dass es sich hier um Quick-Reply handelt. Liegt es vielleicht daran? Das mit der Vorschau ist dennoch eigenartig.

Aus den -> FAQ:
In order to add an image to your message or your signature, you must have the image already available on a web server.
Demzufolge müsste es funktionieren.

Hallo,
heute wollte ich den Workaround ausprobieren. Wie kann ich auf einer anderen Spur, als der eigentlich vorgesehenen, Realdrums anwählen? Über die in allen anderen Spuren verfügbaren RealTracks bin ich nicht an Drumstyles gekommen, habe jedenfalls keine Möglichkeit gefunden, etwas anzuwählen.

Unter BiaB wird es schwer, hatte ich auch noch nicht Versucht!
Unter RealBand ists kein Problem 20 Drums generieren zu lassen!
Welches Programm meinst Du nun Band in a Box 2009 mit RealBand?
Oder ist es Band in a Box 2008 oder früher?

Hi Matze, vielen Dank für Deinen Beitrag - ich habe ehrlich noch nicht genau begriffen, was es mit RealBand auf sich hat. Vielleicht kann mir das ja jemand hier noch mal erklären, allerdings nur, wenn ich nicht noch zusätzlich ein paar Dezi-€ ausgeben müsste. Hatte vor ein paar Wochen BIAB 2009 5 Pro für den Mac mit einigen dieser RealTrack-Packs gekauft. Speziell die Jazz-Abteilung interessiert mich und es gibt diverse RealBook-Titel (hat nicht unbedingt mit RealBand zu tun ...  ) in denen Bossa/Swing oder Samba/Swing wechseln. Das würde ich gern mit BIAB realisieren, benötige dabei nur die 2 verbleibenden Kollegen des Piano-Trios - also Bass und Drums. Von daher könnte ich, wenn die RealDrums z.B. auch auf einer anderen Spur laufen würden, mindestens einen Wechsel - also 2 unterschiedliche Realtracks pro Instrument - in einem Song verarbeiten. So hatte ich den anmoderierten Workaround auch verstanden. Nur wenn sich das mit den Drums nicht machen lässt, müsste ich immer beide Teile getrennt rendern und in Cubase wieder zusammenkleben. Einfach mehr Aufwand. Noch mal vielen Dank trotzdem und schönes Wochenende... Greetz hp.

Funktioniert hier -> Rechts-Klick auf eine Spur und 'Select and Generate RealDrums...' auswählen.

Tja, vielen Dank - vielleicht fehlt mir die Brille oder die Auffassungsgabe - oder eine Kombination aus beiden. Ich kann jedenfalls in einer Standard-Spur nichts von Drums erkennen - wenn ich "Choose RealTracks..." wähle, bekomme ich in der anschließenden Auswahl keine Drums...  Ich jedenfalls kann Drums nur in der Drum-Spur anwählen ...  ???

Der von Andrew vorgeschlagene 'Workaround' funktioniert wesentlich komfortabler in RB als in BB. Andrew schlug diesen Workaround ursprünglich für RealTracks vor, nicht für RealDrums. BB unterstützt RealTracks in allen Spuren; Drums können hingegen in BB lediglich für die Drumspur ausgewählt werden. Der RealDrums Auswahldialog enthält auch keine Option für eine flexible Spurzuweisung, wie das etwa bei dem RealTracks Auswahldialog der Fall ist. Wenn unbedingt Drums via BB behandelt werden sollen, kann die Drumspur als Wav-Datei abgelegt werden. Wenn diese Wav-Datei dann in den Dateinamen des BB Song umbenannt wird, steht diese Audio Datei als Audiospur in BB zur Verfügung und kann eine später neu generierte Drumspur unterstützen. Andrew betonte jedoch, es könne auch RB verwendet werden.
Mein einfacher Vorschlag bezog sich auf RB (Windows).

Tja, irgendwie schade um die Zeit, da im Prinzip in Summe alle Antworten an meiner eigentlichen Frage "leicht" vorbei "schlidderten".
Schließlich war in meiner Frage ausdrücklich von "Realdrums bzw. Realtracks" sowie von BB die Rede. Auch in der Frage, die den "Workaround" als Antwort hatte, war nur von BB gesprochen. Dass ich mit den Renders dann weiter arbeiten kann, hatte ich auch bereits erwähnt.
Also um es unmissverständlicher auszudrücken müsste es m.E. lauten: Der Workaround und Stylewechsel funktionieren nicht für RealDrums in BB.

Mit Außnahme der Möglichkeit, RealDrums via Audiospur in BB zu duplizieren ...
