Dave,

Can you post a snippet of an .mp3 with the offending non-human sounds in it? The reason I ask, is that I might be able to just supply you with a real guitar track - depending on the music style, effect settings you would like and so forth.

I've done this for folks here a couple times. I can sometimes pull of country licks (Ray Thigpen has some tracks that I've contributed to) and am fairly comfortable with slow-medium speed rock licks.

I do not know of any holy grail plugin that can humanize midi electric guitar bends and what not. Bob's recommendation of VG is about the best that there is that I know of.

There will likely be some here on the forum that would suggest you learn how to play guitar yourself - which is not necessarily bad advice. Knowing how to bend notes on a real guitar can help you to hear how to do it with Midi. Just like I can't make brass parts sound right in Midi because the last time I touched a brass instrument was in 5th grade 30+ years ago, it's going to be kind of hard for a non-guitarist to translate and hear a midi bend 'live' to match up with expectation of a real bend.

You live in China where today's inexpensive but very good quality electric guitars come from. Shop for SX or Agile there in China and you won't be disappointed if you can find someone to setup the guitar for you or just do a good job reading one of the guides online on how to do this.

But send me a PM if you'd like me to take a listen and perhaps provide a track or two back for you with 'real' guitar!
