Is anyone else seeing this? When I enter chords in the lead sheet the "#" key does work on my UK keyboard. It used to in 2015. I can enter a sharp sign using the '3' key, but not the '#' key. On a UK keyboard the '£' sign is above '3' and '#' is on a different key.
I also noticed when entering a chord like F#7#9, using the '3' key, the first # is shown correctly, but the second displays as a 3 until i hit enter. I guess this may be deliberate, but I just thought I'd mention it.
BTW, I am running the latest build 429

Works fine on the US keyboard. Curious to see if others from outside the US have this issue.

Andy,
I have a US keyboard layout and I get the same behaviour. If I type C#7#9, the first sharp shows up and the second sharps shows 3... that is, in the chord cell I get C#739. When I hit enter, the chord displays correctly.
As Matt says, let Support know about this. They'd appreciate the information.

Thanks Noel. I suspect that may be just the way PG have to decode what has been typed. It's odd, but not my main issue.
The real problem I have is that the '#' key doesn't work at all. I have to use the '3' key.
I have sent an email to support, we'll see what they say.

Well, you might believe to have a US keyboard layout, but I bet you don't.  (Hint: Ö, Ä is not US) -- Try shift-3 to get the #. In the other thread ( http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=47669&Number=325402#Post325402) I have given the difference between the German and the US keyboard layout. (German and many other foreign indo-germanic-based language keyboards show some similarities between themselves and some, mostly the same, differences to the US-keyboard.) Most relevant keyboard layouts are pictured in Wikipedia; look for search words QWERTY and QWERTZ. What I don't understand is that my German keyboard reqires a # for / while Noel's keyboard requires - for /. It's not the print on the key. It is a different key. Noel's "-"-key and my "-"-key are at the same location while my "#"-key is Noel's "'"-key.

Andy, try Shift-3. That should work.

I don't have a US keyboard, I have a UK keyboard.
Shift-3 gives the '£' symbol, not the '#' symbol
I can make it work by using 3, the issue is, it used to work in 2015 using the '#' key and even though I grew up using the 3 key running version 5 on the Atari ST, sometimes I use the # key. I'm sure PG intended the # key to work, they just made a small mistake somewhere. So I thought I'd report it.
I'm still not sure if it is just me or other non-US keyboard users are having similar problems.

Just had a reply from support....
The developers are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it in the next build update.
So it looks like it is a bug
