This is still a problem with 2016. The basic problem is that they are orienting all the windows as if they were displayed on the default monitor. This is just plain wrong, and it is amazing to me it hasn't been fixed yet.

The basic GUI rule here for classic Windows apps is that the programmer should save the coordinates of every window that can pop up and the next time it pops up, it should appear exactly where it was the previous time, as long as that is still a valid place on the current monitor configuration.

And here's a warning. This was mildly annoying up through the 2015 release. With 2016, the new style picker makes it impossible to use, at least with my monitor setup. I have three monitors and they have different geometries. I don't want any DAW, Notation, VST, or BIAB windows on my default monitor. That is just for OS stuff. The upshot is every time I want to try a different style, it takes me about 10 mouse operations to get that style picker into view. BIAB is absolutely the only app I have that has this problem. This really needs to be fixed.

Do not upgrade to 2016 if you are running multiple monitors -- you will be sorry. (It might work OK as long as you only want to use your default monitor.)
