Can you share what Kent's tip was? Did you do any work toward applying the hint before your issue corrected itself?

I may have to resolve myself to call PGMusic to resolve the issue at some point. (Could not resist the pun smile )

Kent said in the email that your problem is different.

After the usual questions about setup (MME/ASIO...) it was to use the "Snap to Beat" feature in the tracks window just above the tracks. I didn't do anything else. I did not touch that copy of the file itself. I hate it when somebody reports a problem and then changes the parameters, so I don't do that.

Before, I worked on the file by letting the band play held and paused chords. After all, I did have to get the CD ready to mail it to my dad. If I can duplicate this error once more -- I will try that sometime before New Year's Eve, I will record it and put it up for Kent to listen. Until then the same file stays where it is right now and it will not be changed in any way. I also will try to reproduce the error with another piece of music. To be sure this will be done on my laptop which is another computer.
