Welcome to the forums.
I wonder if you might have rendered the BIAB file to audio. If this is the case, the audio file will play as well as the BIAB file.
This can easily by checked by muting the audio using the Audio menu at the top of the screen. Once muted, see if the faders now work.
If that doesn't do the job...
Under the File menu, select 'New', to create a new song, select a noisy style (maybe rock), type in some test chords (say 4 bars), generate and play. See if the faders now work (bass and drums are good ones to try).
