Greg Thanks Greg, I am glad that you brought that up about whether or not you would hear the tune if you were not listening for it. That was part of the experiment for as I was playing each solo instrument I would sing the song in my mind and the tune would (like in jazz) somewhat be there (it forces the listener to sing the song in his or her mind) . The experiment was to see if the solo instruments would carry enough of the tune by just following the chord pattern. I personally felt like they accomplished that (as you said) by just knowing the tune. Thanks for bringing that up. Sonny
