What I could use is some sort of processor to handle piezo pickups, the POD has a setting for that but it is not very good, anyone have any thoughts on that?
It's called a condenser mic. All kidding aside.... get a nice mic and preamp if you need one.... a tube pre can warm up the sound.... and use that in place of the piezo. BINGO! It doesn't have to be an expensive mic either. I picked this up for $19 USD: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/321836278320It was a gamble that really paid off. Our acoustic guitars never sounded better. If you want to hear a sample I can send up a snippet of a live song with only two acoustic guitars and singers using only this mic and a little reverb.  Gotta get me one of them thangs!

There's a reason they invented the pickup, but yeah, if you can use a mic in the situation it may be the way to go.
Cheap Mics:
Sometimes its a matter of finding what a mic is good for. I have a cheap audio-technica mic (about $30 long ago) that is the best ride cymbal mic I've found .. stinks for vocals, but is an excellent ride.
Then again I've seen a few that would be better suited for pounding nails.
When recording, don't just set up a mic, set up a few and compare. You may be amazed in any given situation. Joe's acoustic may sound better with mic A while John's is better with mic B.
I'm actually really glad I typed this because now I realize I've 'pigeon-holed' that mic as a drum kit mic and I really should include it more often to see what else it may be good for.

Ok if I were you I would record with one of your mics until you can afford an audio interface. Looking at that guitar's specs it looks like it has good electronics so running a good pickup through a cheap interface will not produce good results. Been there-done that!
My wife had her driving test today.
She got 8 out of 10.
The other 2 jumped out of the way!

Micing this guitar is going to be challenging because it doesn't have a typical acoustic guitar sound because of the lack of a thicker body and no sound hole. You will get lots of string sound, but not much 'body' sound.
It sounds like you are not happy with the acoustic sound from the A6 pickup system. I would first start saving for an acoustic guitar that sounds more like an acoustic. Godin's acoustic guitar brands are generally great values and since it's a Canadian company, might save you some loonies, instead of trying to find the magic solution to 'un-piezo-fying' the output of the inbuilt pickups.
Try the Craig Anderton EQ tip above, but if what you are really shooting for is a more natural acoustic tone, it's going to be less expensive getting a more proper acoustic guitar, than it is to find some kind of signal processing to get a natural tone out of the pickups.
As pointed out by Mario, you can get a very inexpensive large diaphragm condenser mic to go along with the guitar later on.

I believe the reason piezo pickups were invented and became so popular was a 2 fold reason. 1. They are very small and can often be incorporated into the guitar and are not visible. One of my acoustic guitars has a piezo pickup under the bridge. If you didn't see the volume/tone knobs or the jack, which is in the strap peg, you would not know it was an electric model. They were certainly more convenient than those Lawrence models that clipped into the sound hole and had e 10' cord to deal with across the front of the guitar. 2. They are not microphones and therefore don't pick up sound the way a normal mic does. Being much less sensitive to sound, they can be used on stage in very loud environments such as one experiences in a rock show. There's no way you could use a condenser on a rock stage. As long as the acoustic guitar's body doesn't become resonate with the strings due to sheer stage volume, the piezo tends to not provide a feedback loop as easily as other kinds of pickups.

My Alvarez AD90SCK has both piezo and an internal condenser mic, and I can blend them together or use just one or the other. Any acoustic can be used on a Rock stage, as long as you use a Lutehole cover ( http://lutehole.com/) and keep your distance from floor monitors. Of course, if you're using IEMs, you can even ditch the Lutehole cover.
