I would not be surprised if she did - really...." No doubt about that either. That you took a " standard modern boring cliché sounds, unoriginal" song into such an original and professional mix is outstanding.
Your mix is the best of the bunch not just genre speaking but I think you did the most with the song.
Although her vocals are stellar, clear and fit well in the mix, I think she could do an even better job redoing the song over your music. She would probably phrase better and more in style with the big band genre of singing.
