I agree 100% however you can get to any open window by using the task manager ALT/CTRL/DEL Select Start Task Manager, click on the applications tab, right click the window you want to see. Then choose bring window to front. Very inconvenient, however all windows remain open. On WIN machines this helps to complete an operation and save the file keeps all active windows open.
