Yeh the harmonica was haunting, just what the song needed.

Cheers Greg, That harmonica was perfect for the sadness the song needed.
I couldn't fit into my spandex pants for the solo so am glad you enjoyed it!!

The atmospheric background is really nicely done. Haunting - perfect for the song.

The Hullo Suzie x3 - super. As that was ending, I was thinking... "how cool would it be if it broke out into a big rock sound right here". AND IT DID!!! And SO well done.

This is truly a work of art.

P.S. .... been missin' ya - wondering where you got off to... I do hope all is well...

oh - almost forgot... nice guitar work!

What can I say, but thanks
"truly a work of art" ...... I appreciate that coming from a Master like yourself

Alyn,

This is simply brilliant! Sorry you went through a rough patch, but look what you came out of it with! And the ripping lead at the end – fantastic.

I am really impressed.

There is no other word to describe this but BRILLIANT. That guitar is smoking at the end. An incredible track in all regards. Tom

Great song, for me the best of yours.

Very well the harmonica; great chords line used and super guitar solo.

(May be the volume of your voice is too low)

Like I said.... very nice.

I can relate to this because my brother is now a woman. He won the "most changed" award at his high school reunion. That took some cajones to attend something like that. He made the change quite a few years back and needless to say, it was quite a shock to many people in the family as well as friends.

O-bla dee... life goes on....

Thanks for your wonderful comments about the song.
The subject idea is far more emotive than I ever imagined it would be and quite a shock is one big understatement for your family.

Thanks for listening and commenting

I had to put something down on paper as that short chat was quite a big moment for that guy. It must have taken a lot for him to tell me about it.
Glad you liked me going wild on guitar grin

Like Floyd said the acoustic guitars sound very clear and bright.

The backing vocals are beautiful, and then of course, as always that sudden dynamic solo.
Your best!

Rob & Anne-Marie

Thanks Rob and Anne-Marie I needed to get his thoughts down and the mix , as simple as it should appear, was quite difficult so I am so glad it worked

All the best for the New Year

Cheers David,
I struggled with the vocal level as I wanted it to be a sad song, and an Album track, and settled on the lower more "intimate" version. However your thoughts are noted and I will re-evaluate!

Your use of RT's, etc., is always very innovative and this tune illustrates that
very well. The build (explosion?) into the rock sound was brilliant.

Enjoyable and thought provoking!

Thank you both and Janice hit the spot with her "sad in an ethereal kind of way" 'cos that is EXACTLY what I wanted but couldn't think of the way to describe it.

It must be one hell of a thought to have in your mind and then to act on them....unimaginable!
Never thought I would write a song that was thought provoking in a positive way

Cheers Bob,
The rough patch still continues but re-meeting that guy and BIAB pulled me up a bit.
So glad you enjoyed

Sergio,

You are the second to write that the vocals are too low so I will re-evaluate.

Thank you so much for listening and commenting.
