One part of your post stuck in my mind, the part about the difference in volume level between midi and RealTracks. I use three different midi synths; SampleTank 2.5, Roland TTS-1 and the Audigy 2 sound card. I will alternate between the three synths to find the sound I like. I also normally leave the Band-in-a-Box mixer volume level at default (90) for each track. Surprisingly each soft synth will have a different apparent volume leading me to believe every instrument of every synth will have its own apparent volume level.

If my thought is true then PG Music can not match the default volume level between midi soft synths and audio.

If a person uses primarily a single soft synth there is a setting that can adjust midi levels to more closely match audio levels.
