Here’s a curly one? For some time I have wanted to get better sounding strings. So I decided to do some experiments. Pulled out a copy of Gigastudio Orchestra mothballed away after not having used it much and set it up together with Realband and a Tascam US-144 audio interface to a mixer/amp. Also connected audio out from my comp (Windows XP) to the amp also via the mixer/amp. Set the 144 in the midi setup in Realband and loaded up a DireMood style demo transferred from B&B (SGU file). This has guitars, bass and drums (all realtracks) and strings (midi). Played the file in Realband and checked the chords with my guitar, - everything OK. Now loaded up Gigastudio and set up the Vienna Orch. Violins, and checked the notes, - OK checked. Started up Realband and for some reason the Realband audio tracks now play in a completely different KEY??? Making the strings of course sound way off. Anybody any idea what is going on here
