Buongiorno a tutti,
Finalmente dopo varie peripezie sono riuscito ad avere B.I.B,
programma fantastico, un pò complicato all'inizio, ma eccezionale.
Facendo delle prove, per prendere dimestichezza, ho scelto uno Style contrassenato con (*F)
e ho buttato giù un pò di accordi, poi alla 18 battuta decido di cambiare Style da quella battuta in poi.
Seguo la procedura, mi posiziono col mouse sulla battuta 18, premo F5 e scelgo un
altro Style, sempre contrassegnato (*F) (cliccando sul bottoncino .STY).
Va tutto bene ma il Basso non si sente, qualsiasi altro Style seleziono
ho sempre il medesimo problema: il basso non si sente.
Dove sbaglio?

dovresti darci qualche indicazione in più:
versione esatta del programma (specificando anche la piattaforma);
se è solo con Styles Midi o anche con RealTracks;
il nome esatto dello Style iniziale (questo è fondamentale!) e un paio di nomi di Styles che non fan sentire il Basso.
Prima però una domanda: hai provato la stessa procedura ma partendo da Styles diversi?

Il software è Band in a Box 2015 su Windows 7,
in questo momento sono in ufficio quindi non ho il programma sotto mano, stasera controllo e Vi mando ulteriori informazioni, per il momento grazie infinite.

Dunque eccomi davanti al PC,
la versione è la 2005 Megapack Windows, il brano inizia con questo style:
_DIRE_FS EV 8 Fast Rock w Dire ElGuit
e alla battuta 18 lo cambio con:
ARPEGGIO sw 8 Arpeggio style ( non si sente il basso )
e nemmeno con questo:
SWBALLAD sw 8 Soul Ballad is useful in Country.
e nemmeno con questo
ZZPBAL12 sw 8 Pop Ballad 12/8
Con molti altri funziona tutto

Non siamo molto in sintonia, comunque vediamo se sciogliamo lo stesso la matassa.
A parte che spero tu volessi scrivere 2015 e non 2005, la parola Megapack indica uno dei pacchetti di vendita del programma e non la sua versione, quella la leggi all'interno del software, dopo averlo aperto nel menu Aiuto (o Help) trovi le indicazioni sulla versione in tuo possesso. Ad esempio, quello che sto usando io in questi giorni:
Band-in-a-Box per Windows
Versione 2014 (386)
Comunque non preoccuparti ora di andare a cercare questo dato. Se non ricordo male, i pacchetti Megapack non contengono RealTracks e RealDrums, quindi stai lavorando solo in midi ed i cambi di stile che indichi sul mio programma funzionano bene in Midi (come cambi!). Non funzionano per niente invece se attivo le RealTracks, i motivi per ora lasciamoli da parte, sarebbe troppo complicato da spiegare qui.
Se lavori solo in midi quindi c'è sicuramente qualche altro problema.
Servirebbero altre indicazioni per provare ad aiutarti.
Il suono della traccia dove lo prendi? cioè con quale SoftSynth (DXi o VST) fai arrivare all'uscita il suono delle parti strumentali?
Una volta effettuato l'arrangiamento principale salvi il brano congelando le tracce? L'inserimento del cambio Style lo effettui prima o dopo il primo salvataggio del brano e relativo congelamento tracce?
Potrei scrivere molto altro ma è soprattutto il principio "della ricerca" che vorrei trasmetterti, cioè: comincia con un semplice brano di 12 misure senza ripetizioni e sempre con lo stesso accordo, non è importante (insomma: una specie di Sample da cavia!).
Ripeti i cambi di Styles che hai già menzionato e prova ad effettuarli più volte modificando di volta in volta qualche impostazione (fai il possibile per stimolare la tua capacità d'iniziativa), coinvolgendo in questo anche il generatore del suono, qualsiasi esso sia, Hypersonic, Roland VSC, Yamaha XG, ecc.
Un consiglio spassionato e molto personale, ma è una cosa che semina sempre qualche soddisfazione in più: non mescolare all'interno dello stesso arrangiamento Styles EV con Styles SW. Nella finestra di selezione degli Styles noterai dei piccoli simboli affiancati (a sinistra) al nome dello stile, un asterisco (*) ed un altro che rappresenta una piccola v rovesciata, essi ti indicano gli styles più adatti ad essere usati assieme o in sostituzione dello Style attivo in quel momento.

Quanta carne al fuoco, non ti dimenticare che sono un neofita,
sono solo tre sere che smanetto con questo software.
Ricapitoliamo:
1) è vero ho sbagliato a scrivere la versione è 2015.
Il pacchetto di istallazione contiene 6 DVD,
il primo è l'stallazione vera e propria del software,
dal disco 2 al disco 6 ci sono svariati .exe files che indicano rispettivamente:
realtracks_pro_1.exe, pro_2.exe ecc. ecc. fino a 4
poi:
realtraks_mega_1.ese, mega_2.exe fino a 4 ecc. ecc.
quindi desumo che le realtracks esistano.
2) Non uso, per il momento, alcuna scheda audio o Midi esterna
ma solo quella del portatile, quindi non saprei quale VST sto usando al momento.
3) L'esperimento l'ho fatto "al volo", facendo i cambi di stile senza salvare la song prima,
e senza "congelare" le tracce, (anche perchè al momento non so nemmeno come si fa :)))
Ma i tuoi consigli mi saranno utilissimi e stasera li metto in opera subito.
(controllo bene la versione, ricomincio da capo, salvo e congelo, modifico lo style, controllo il VST ecc ecc.)
Sta cosa mi intriga!!!!!
P.S.
La PG_Music mi ha fatto scaricare anche la versione 2016,
(non sto a spiegare il perchè), quindi ho due prodotti registrati
regolarmente, 2015 e 2016,.
posso disattivare la 2015, istallare e attivare la 2016?
Così magari la 2015 la istallo su un altro PC e ne ho due?
Chiedo perchè voglio fare le cose regolari.

Ti chiedo scusa, hai ragione! Ho sottovalutato il fatto che, come avevi chiaramente precisato, hai acquistato il software in questi giorni.
Ora purtroppo non sono in casa, sto rispondendo al volo da fuori. Nel pomeriggio ti preparo una risposta più adeguata e spero maggiormente utile.

Scusami ancora ma da un po’ di tempo mi fioccano imprevisti a cariolate. Per scrivere qui quanto potrebbe (forse!) esserti utile mi servirebbe tempo che al momento non ho, e mi viene più facile intanto postare un link ad una paginetta particolare. Dal 2006 al 2014 ho tenuto in piedi un piccolo sito dedicato a BiaB dove pubblicavo principalmente Tutorial anche in Video. Ho chiuso il sito ormai da oltre un anno e principalmente perchè non potevo più dedicarmici come un tempo, sia al sito che a BiaB. Il dominio però rimane a mia disposizione e lo utilizzo come spazio personale, ci tengo un po’ di cose che m’interessano tra le quali tutti i file più significativi di quando era attivo. Se clicchi questo link troverai una paginetta anonima dalla quale poter scaricare 6 Video manuali, i testi dei Video, e alcuni vecchi tutorial in formato pdf. Puoi scaricare liberamente ciò che vuoi, e questo vale per tutti i visitatori del Forum. Ti consiglio di scaricare per primi i testi dei Video, dandoci un’occhiata potresti farti un’idea su quale Video rivolgere la tua attenzione per primo. Ovviamente, avendo cominciato l’avventura del sito in tempi in cui utilizzavo versioni attualmente considerate " già vecchiotte", diverse delle cose che affronto nei Video appariranno obsolete se non peggio, (basta pensare e confrontare Midi con RealTracks!), ma sono certo che molto è ancora più che mai utile, soprattutto per chi iniza la sua avventura. una dritta al volo!
Volenti o dolenti . . . incompatibilità tra Styles ve ne sono.
Mi sono imbattuto ancora in ostacoli del genere ed ho trovato solo maniere per aggirarli, ma non per eliminarli. La strada più conveniente è di lavorare assieme ad un Multisequencer.
Ad esempio, inserendo uno Style midi su un arrangiamento nato su Style di RealTracks ci si può bloccare con una situazione come quella da te segnalata.
Una soluzione potrebbe essere quella che ti propongo nel prossimo Post e che prende ad esempio 2 Style tra quelli da te indicati: _DIRE_FS e ARPEGGIO.
Puoi trovare l’argomento anche in uno dei Tutorial (Songs: frammenti) scaricabili dal Link che avevo già segnalato.
Preciso che quanto spiegherò potrebbe in parte risultarti “arabo”, termini o concetti che fanno parte di un qualcosa al quale ci si è appena avvicinati, necessitano di essere assimilati con gradualità per non mandarci in “blackout”, ma ti pregherei nel caso di mettere in un cassetto queste spiegazioni, perché di certo non passerà molto tempo che riuscirai a seguirle con cognizione di causa ed a metterle in pratica al punto da comprenderle anche nelle sfumature più recondite!

Crea 2 file di BiaB, uno con il solo Style _DIRE_FS e con tutte le impostazioni che ti interessano (accordi, tempo, ecc.) e un secondo file con il solo Style ARPEGGIO, ed anche in questo caso accordi, tempo, ecc. devono corrispondere alle tue esigenze specificatamente riguardanti questa parte stilistica. E se fossero solo 8 misure non c’è problema, per il programma non cambia nulla, stai solo attento a non impostare ritornelli superiori a 1 nell’apposito riquadro.
Finisci i 2 file (o 2 arrangiamenti) come fossero brani indipendenti, ma considera quanto segue:
la sezione suonata in stile Arpeggio potrebbe non condurre l’arrangiamento fino alla fine del brano, diventando una specie di Inciso (se mi permetti di chiamarlo così) quindi è necessario creare un terzo file con Style _DIRE_FS e arrangiarlo fino a renderlo idoneo come parte strumentale successiva a quella destinata ad essere un Inciso.
Una volta terminati i due (o tre ) arrangiamenti li devi salvare (ognuno per suo conto) esportandoli in file wave il primo (e l’eventuale terzo) ed in formato midifile il secondo.
In un Multisequencer (va bene anche RealBand) devi importare tutti i file esportati dagli arrangiamenti finora menzionati.
Le tracce in formato midifile ovviamente andranno impostate in maniera adeguata con un SoftSynth, in modo da ottenere suoni di qualità affiancabile ai suoni delle RealTracks. Questo lavoro con i SoftSynth potresti farlo anche all’interno di BiaB nel secondo arrangiamento, e quindi poi esportare già da lì le varie parti strumentali, senza salvare in midifile (spero che questa parte sia abbastanza chiara).
Non mi dilungo oltre su come proseguire sul multisequencer, qui le cose dipendono molto da quale si usa e da quanto lo si conosce.
Fammi sapere se quanto ho scritto è proprio troppo incomprensibile.
Comunque se preferisci l’arrangiamento “ tranquillo ”, senza acrobazie, non mescolare Styles basati su RealTracks con Styles impostati ancora esclusivamente sul Midi.

Ciao Sergio,
sei stato chiarissimo e come sempre gentilissimo,
se ho ben capito mi creo una song per ogni style, le salvo in formato Wav.
Il tutto lo rielaboro importandolo (per esmpio con Cubase, RelaBand o qualsiasi alto sequencer).
Certo la cosa è macchinosa e richiede tempo.

Ciao. Mi inserisco solo per aggiungere alcune note, che non interferiscono con quanto detto da Seranto, che è un maestro di BiaB  . Quando installi la versione 2016, questa si sovrappone alla 2015 che se fai tutto bene dovrebbe risultare automaticamente disattivata. Per quanto riguarda problemi di licenza ad averle tutte e due, non ce ne sono. Te le ha fornite entrambe PGMusic. Ho visto che hai avuto i DVD. Ma da quanto ho capito stai usando ancora la versione in inglese, correggimi se sbaglio. Nel DVD dovresti trovare anche il pacchetto per l'installazione della lingua italiana, se non lo trovi potrai scaricarlo da qui. Nel forum trovi i link per questo. Troverai solo quelli per la versione 2015, per il momento, ma traducono oltre il 90% del programma. Buon divertimento.

si sto usando la versione in inglese perchè vorrei istallare il 2016.
Il 2015 lo istallerei su un'altro PC, visto che ora so che si può fare, e allora userei le patch in italiano (che ho già scaricato).
