This is the message I get when I try to drag a midi track version of a real track solo to the midi box for export. Other midi tracks in this project have saved and exported without a problem. Could it be because this track is the real chart midi version of the real track? Thanks.

It could be what you describe, the drive letter for the external (source) drive may have changed.
Can you try reloading the MIDI track from the real chart onto another (blank) track and see if this fixes it?
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

also try render - save track to file.
in daw plugin mode options - uncheck drag midi as audio - select whole track then just drag on the track number and out to a folder or app.

Thanks for the replies. I did the right click on the track, select save as. It saved it to the folder I choose, but weird thing, when I opened the track in Reaper, there were 4 of them with different parts of the original on each, and they 4 tracks were all on different midi channels. I went back and did the save again and saw a prompt that said put all the midi channels on one track,(something like that), anyway, I got the track imported into Reaper, and it's working. Thanks again.
