Good job, Steve! Those were the days. I agree with Toucher, the bass is a little heavy. Maybe it would sound more "authentic" with a standup bass instead of an electric patch, especially if you can get a rockabilly slapback effect. I like the way the ending extends. I might alter the arrangement a bit, maybe throw in a short hot sax solo in the middle. And not to be critical, but I just happen to have listened to the original "Ooby Dooby," by Roy Orbison, and if possible, you might want to increase your tempo a bit, maybe even raise the pitch a step or two -- get that fifties youthful energy back -- it goes with the Junior Mints. Keep up the good work.
