The fact that certain information isn't getting saved (when it does save for other folks) means something is blocking it. So the question is what is blocking it? It does seem like both your issues might be related.
In the off chance it works, another thing to try might be to (at least temporarily) exclude your BIAB and RealBand folders from your anti-virus scanner. Which anti-virus do you use?
By the way, excluding the BIAB and RealBand folders from anti-virus scanning will speed up how quickly the programs load.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
