Hi all,
I've trying to dress up the music page on my website.
My problem is that the HTML source code that I enter with some white space, gets changed into one big paragraph.
This happens in Coffee Cup and Evrsoft First page 2005. I can't seem to find a display option.

Thanks Dan but,
I have the needed code inserted for the line breaks and they show properly on the browser.
My problem is that the code in the editor displays as one big paragraph. Without any white space, this is very difficult to read.

Whatever editor you are using, look for a word wrap setting.

I guess I haven't explained myself very well, in fact it is rather hard to explain.
There is no problem with the display in the browser. The problem is that the source code for a couple pages displays as all one paragraph. This makes it difficult to make changes.
Also, when this happens i can't toggle word wrap or line numbers.

Perhaps the editor stripped out all the extra spaces. This is a common last step. I never do it, though, because it makes editing a nightmare, and with download speeds now, it hasn't been needed since the 1990s.

if you are working on a Mac and then moving the file to a PC (or maybe vice-versa) this can happen or at least it used to happen because Mac only used one character to break lines while the PC uses two (CR and LF).
