Hi All, Here's a song I wrote many years ago when I lived in Amsterdam for a short time. I finally got around to recording it. This is called Amsterdam Rain. This is my favorite of all your lyrics. Full, vivid, plaintive, beautiful storytelling..
I really enjoyed this.
(What ever happened the Eric Anderson? Always liked his version of David Wiffen's "More Often Than Not")

The way you've set up and described the scenes, this song is so vivid I could picture it all in my mind like I was watching a film as you were singing.
Reminded me of something Harry might do - compliment most definitely intended!

We agree with floyd -- this is our favorite vocal of yours.
Amazing in it's clarity and plaintive sound. Beautiful.
The choice of RT's and the mix are perfect in support
of your vocal.
And the write? Wow...the imagery is wonderful.
