Running Windows 10, BIAB 2016.

I installed program and MIDI styles, but left real-track styles on the USB drive. Worked fine until a few days ago, so long as I didn't need real tracks. When I needed them, I plugged the USB drive into the computer and all was fine.

A few days ago, BIAB startup (build 430, btw), initial window showed only (1) the top menu bar, (2) the mixer in the top-right, and (3) the chord-entry stuff. No other icons or displays (i.e., song name). IF, though, I then plugged the USB drive in, the window changed to show everything as I expected.

Today I decided to uninstall and reinstall BIAB from scratch. This time, I put everything on the internal hard drive. NOW the chord-entry is ALSOl gone, even if I plug the USB drive in. Nothing changed when I updated with builds 430 and 431. Pressing F3 (open a song) calls up the expected dialog, but nothing happens if I select a song. FINALLY ... when I terminate the program I get an exception message: NOT ENOUGH TIMERS and some long address.

Upon more exploration, I see that "uninstall" left a bunch of registry values lying around, including what I believe to be names of custom folders.

What tha...? What do I need to do to get back to "BIAB not installed" to start over again?

Thanks.
