The generate button that is next to Song Settings (2nd line, near the middle of the screen). Is very trigger-happy. It often takes off and regens all the original tracks when I'm trying to select a specific instrument for one track. Does it often take off by itself, or because you inadvertently click on it? I don't really understand how it gets triggered by selecting a specific instrument for one track.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
