The reason I wanted to get more knowledge on this was not that I wanted the world to see my documentary by posting on YB or the open internet in general.
My documentary project, although profound for me, would be an interest only one....not something I'd want, or expect to go (I hate the word these days) viral as they say.

As with most hear I've watched a lot of various projects on YT....many being military related.
Most are just normal individuals that have included various music as background for their amateur video projects....not professionals in the video production field.
Not something they've created to generate personal revenue.
Given my perception I can't imagine more than just a single digit percentage of those persons actually had gone through the complicated legal gymnastics and buy the rights for usage of the musical content.

Not complaining about why the current laws/processes exist....just a factor that occurred to me.

But...what do I know...I have been wrong in the past.

Back to it....
