>>> Hello, I'm looking for a way to get the guitar chords for the song I made to display in the first position only, so that no guitar chords will display past the fifth fret. Is this possible? Thanks for any help, hope I worded this right.
There are a few ways to get at this.
1. If the purpose is guitar teaching, you can add a track that shows playing in the first position. Open the guitar tutor (on guitar Window). Set the tutor type to "Folk Guitar - simple". Then you'll see those chords play along with any song. If you'd like a permanent copy of that, press the COPY TO MELODY TRACK (or Soloist) button.
2. If you're prefer a style that did this, you can set the database type to Folk in the stylemaker - which'll be open chords.
3. If you use the Guitarist Chord Melody feature, you can restrict the guitarist to certain fret range. Press EDIT on a guitarist to do that.
