Yes, I remember that. WMP could really throw you for a loop that way, especially since BIAB uses WMP to play audio demos.

But yes, since most folks have been on Vista, Win7, and Win10 for the past several years, we hadn't seen that crop up.

I used to see that in XP with Noteworthy Composer (NWC). I would play an audio file (maybe the song I'm working on transcribing) and all of a sudden (NWC wouldn't play anymore). Don't know why WMP did that, but once you knew that was the problem, it was easy to deal with.
