In a word, NO!

Some RealTracks have the DI (clean) option available, so you can apply your own amp effects (such as with Amplitube or Guitar Rig Pro). There is a column in the RealTracks Picker to indicate whether a RealTrack even has a DI version available. Basically, this will let you choose between the already amped sound as recorded, or as the direct input sound from the mixing board (which will be clean and allow you to apply your own amp effects). BIAB (and RB) will pick the appropriate areas of that file to use depending on if the checkbox is on or off. It doesn't remove anything from the sound when you select DI, it just uses a different part of the RT file. Likewise, unchecking doesn't add amp effects back to the guitar, it just uses the section of the file where the guitar was recorded through the amp.

Hope that made sense.
