This is a style I heard from a concert with Deep Purple back in the days, where one of the singers echoed one of the guitarist solo by humming same phrases right after the solo.

Did not got the sound of the moog that I wanted. It was right in BiaB but the exported wav became different. Don't know why...

Enjoy !

Hi Trygve. Well this is certainly very creative. Enjoyed my listen. Thanks for sharing it. I cannot imagine how hard it is to make something like this.

Thank's Joanne !
Actually not hard at all...
The workflow to make it, is pretty simple and straight forward... Drop the realtrack to the midi file station. (Need to have real charts).
Import to Vocaloid and change the interpretation of the default sound for each note, ie; Ooh (pronounced U: by default) to the pronunciation of D. Now, every midi note, will as default pronounce every midi note with that sound (d).... And there we go ! Export as wav and import to BiaB, And BANG !

Spicing up the sound of whatever we like...;)

Hi Trygve,

very creative, in some places a little disharmonic though.
Still enjoyed listening.

Very interesting!

I liked what you are doing here. My problem, now I am listening with cans, is that the synth vocal is a lot louder than the rest of the tracks. IMHO either lower that or bring up the rest of the tracks to match.

Thank's Mario ! Also for pointing out the volume for me.. I have made a new and better version of it. Will replace it tonight when the speed is better...

So you have finally embarked on the road of vocaloid use! smirk
I don't like it a lot, but I think it's an interesting work

Great background music.

Well, not really "Embarked" in it, if I understand the word right... It's a tool, like many other great tools.. Used with care, it should work out great.... Thank's for ur kind feedback of the song...

hey Leo!

Ha! You dated yourself buddy, by admitting where you got the idea! I remember that it was all the rage in the 70s for vocalists to echo the guitar part...for example Robert Plant echoing Jimmy Page's riffs. Funny how good ideas seem obvious in retrospect.... I find myself wondering why nobody has come up with something like this until now? Good catch!

But this creative use of the real charts is a good example of the fact that there are probably MANY ways to use them that haven't been fully explored yet!

Cool as it is, it would probably work best as an accent in a song with actual lyrics. Its asking a lot to expect any catchy hook to carry the whole song... but it certainly does work as a forum demo of a BIAB capability that nobody has really explored yet! Thanks for posting!

Maybe this flirt will be taken to the next level-engagement? This is cool! I particularly liked those horns-felt a Steelyness again. I have to play with those! Nice listen! Take care. Greg

Thank's a lot Pat ! You are one of the best commentator in this great forum! Always give detailed comments and support, for whitch I am bery thankful for.... Dated my self? Hehe, yeah, one of the best dates I had in my life, with a fruitfull relationship as a result...;) I loved the 70*s progrock, so have much to catch up with there.. Did not also Ian Anderson used his voice a lot in his Flute Playing? Seems to remember somnething there... Would be cool to try it out one day...

Yeah, I really enjoy the use of Real Charts, it gives room for so many alternative instruments, playing over those notes... It must have been an enourmeous load of work for the PG staff to do this.. Kudos to PG Music for this !
