+1 Agree with everything said EXCEPT working with frozen tracks. Unfreeze the track, switch to DI, then refreeze. Jim, I disagree about frozen/unfrozen and here is why... The toggle for DI/non-DI should work without regard to the frozen status because that is how everything else in the mixer works. A frozen track can be adjusted for volume, for panning, for reverb and for tone. These controls are unrelated to the generation of the track and therefore they work regardless of the frozen status. And switching between DI and non-DI is also unrelated to generation of the track. If it was tied to frozen/unfrozen it adds an unnecessary step, breaks with the current mixer standard and potentially causes the very problem it is intended to help...that of switching between DI/non-DI without regenerating! The freeze/unfreeze relates only to track generation and since switching between DI and non-DI does not in any way engage track generation, please add this simple toggle and please do NOT relate it to frozen/unfrozen!
