You should be able to find a song to match the Oriental/Asian feel you hear in your head on the internet. Search YouTube or recall a movie where you acquired that feel. Download the song you find, run it in the Audio Chord Wizard. The ACW will give you the tempo, chords and key signature. Use that as a starting point to develop your unique song. A midi file will give you the same information but may be harder to locate an appropriate midi file in the genre.
