This post appeared in Dan Tong's excellent thread about the EWI-5000 wind controller.

I recommend the thread. I didn't want to hijack it.

Kind of made me wish that some of my more modern keyboards would have that Breath Controller input on 'em.

But technology is indeed catching up, have you heard any of the YouTube demos of the brand new Tyros 5 and its intelligent articulation algos? Whoop.

Mac, I couldn't believe it when I saw your post.

I hope your life has been fantastic during your absence from the forums!

I hope your life continues to be great, whether or not you continue to post here!

When you took your leave, I didn't post a proper goodbye.

I just want to thank you for the hundreds of thousands of people that you've helped. (I don't feel I am exaggerating; lurkers abound.)

You certainly have helped me.

I hope I haven't embarrassed you, but I'm OK with it (I considered that) if I have.

Life is short.

God Bless You!
