I've not seen that before but given there are a few places to set preferences and other settings sometimes a
"Return to Factory Settings" in the "Options" menu fixes these kinds of issues

Set it back to factory settings did the trick. However, the songs that I did before I noticed the error and now transposed to a different key. I'm going to have to watch this. I searched the help file and saw that there are hot keys for transposing. I think I may have hit them by mistake while typing in #, may have hit ctrl/shift,3. I now realize I don't have to shift for sharp just hit 3. F# = f3
