Hola, mi consulta es la siguiente:
cuando abro un midi, quiero silenciar todos los instrumentos, y escuchar solo el bajo. cuando abro la guitarrita que me muestra las cuerdas, tambien quiero ver solo lo que hace el bajo y no me deja me muestra lo que hacen todos los instrumentos.

Hola Isabenja, gracias por tu participación al consultar tus dudas en este tu foro. En cuanto a tu pregunta te informo primero que todo que cuando se carga un archivo MIDI en Band in a Box todos los tracks o pistas activas y sus diferentes instrumentos y canales MIDI van a parar a una sola pista en el programa, en esta caso el track o pista de MELODIA. Por esa razón no puedes aislar ninguno de los instrumentos por separado, ya que no puedes "mutearlos" o silenciarlos separadamente. Sin embargo esto tiene solución utilizando otros recursos disponibles dentro del mismo Band in a Box los cuales te explicaré lo mas pronto posible despues de preparar y organizar la información y procedimientos a seguir para que lo entiendas mejor, te parece?. En breve tendrás las soluciones alternativas a tu problema para que puedas ver en tu Band in a Box el instrumento que desees tal y como fué grabado en el archivo MIDI original. Ah, por favor hazme saber si estas usando Band in a Box en idioma español o en inglés.

Ok. He aqui la forma de poder separar los instrumentos provenientes de un archivo MIDI cargado en Band in a Box. 1- Carga tu archivo MIDI en Band in a Box usando el menú Archivo/abrir archivo MIDI, hasta aqui la canción MIDI irá completa con todos los canales MIDI directamente a la pista de MELODIA  2- Haz click en el boton redondo de color verde que dice SEQ o busca en el menu MELODIA o SOLISTA la función correspondiente llamada Ventana de Secuenciador para MELODIA/SOLISTA MultiCanal.  3- Seleccionemos esta vez para el ejemplo "Ventana de Secuenciador para MELODIA MultiCanal"  4- selecciona en esta ventana los instrumentos que se deseen tocar y/o ver. Si deseas por ejemplo reproducir solamente el Bajo de la secuencia MIDI, haz click en ambas casillas "NO" para apagar todos los canales y luego haz click en las casillas Tocar y Mostrar del instrumento deseado, en este caso en la imagen el canal 9 Acoustic String Bass. Los demas valores y casillas deberán estar como se muestra en la imagen.  5- Haz click en TOCAR en la misma ventana o en OK para salir y reproducir desde la ventana principal de Band in a Box. El instrumento seleccionado sonará solo y podrá verse reproducido igualmente en el teclado virtual y guitarra virtual, también podrás ver la notación musical (partitura) correspondiente al instrumento en la VENTANA DE PARTITURA - Notación Multi-linea haciendo click en el ícono verde con las dos corcheas o por Alt+W Tip: - en esta caso al tratarse de un bajo puede configurarse el diagrama de guitarra virtual como un bajo (gráfico con 4 cuerdas) entrando al menú "Opciones de Guitarra" (botón a la izquierda) y en la casilla "TRASTE" seleccionas BAJO. - Si lo que deseas es solamente escuchar tu instrumento preferido sin necesidad de verlo por separado en la pantalla, obvia los pasos 2,3,4 y 5 y chequea el sintetizador, instrumento virtual o tabla de ondas MIDI que estes usando dentro de Band in a Box haciendo click en el ícono DXi, alli podrías encontrarte con un menú de instrumentos tipo GM (General Midi) el cual te permitirá muy posiblemente mutear o silenciar (MUTE) los demas instrumentos mientras dejas activo (SOLO) el instrumento de tu preferencia. NOTA: al usar el sintetizador por defecto que tiene tu sistema operativo, como por ejemplo, Windows XP o Vista, es probable que no tengas esa opción al alcance, por lo tanto trata de configurar un sintetizador desde Band in a Box para mayor libertad al momento de seleccionar sonidos. Espero que este sencillo procedimiento te sea de utilidad, cualquier duda que todavía tengas hazla saber por este medio y por favor, comparte con nosotros los resultados que obtuviste, igualmente escribe si descubres algo que se haya pasado por alto, en esta comunidad podemos aprender todos de todos. Y recuerda, siempre consulta tu manual, es una de las mejores fuentes de información a la mano para resolver problemas y obtener lo mejor de tu Band In A Box .
