Due to "Life" interferences, vowed to NOT purchase more sound
libraries.

Thanks to some help I purchased Komplete 10(standard).

As a lot of you know I've done a lot of work with UserTracks.

Have Forte, which is actually a very good sounding Synth for
several voices.
Also all 5 of the SAMPLE TANK 2.5 synths libraries/control panels.
This has around 30 gig of sounds. Did use this quite a bit until
purchased Sonar 3 years ago.
Along with SoundPak purchases and additional CW purchases and upgrades have several of
their mainline synths. Was and still am reasonably happy with their sounds and libraries.

This is my opinion, nothing in fact, other that experience working
with the UserTracks.

There is some number of things that affect the sound quality and increase
smooth and non-distorted UserTracks.

Hands down the Komplete 10(standard) with many synths has great sounds
and abilities with UserTracks work.

Taking an opinion of only one fact, the size/contiguous build of each
instrument/voicing is the cats pajama's.

Most of the last series of UserTracks contain K10 in the titles.
I still have a lot more to learn regarding where all of the 12,000
samples and sounds reside.

I also have Addictive Keys, which has some excellent sounds, but the
Kontakt 5 synth alone competes closely with ADDKEY.

Bottom line, after I finish up the yearly pain in patootie am going
to purchase the SampleTank vs 3 with a tiny keyboard.

Many of you folks are guilty of helping me break the Vow.
Naw, no sweat.

Appreciate all of the comments and information.

I had almost talked myself out of it Frank! But if you're in...I'm in!

I have Komplete 9 and I am still very amazed at how much cool stuff is in there! But you never know when a little more would help with that new song, right? laugh

I thought I was bad. Looking forward to your impressions of it and how you think it compares to your other stuff.

The "war" wasn't over your price delta's you noted it was over K5 vs ST3. I figured to get some heat over how I like ST3 more than most folks, part of that is I think it's more convenient to use as well.

But yea that's a large price delta Sweetwater vice IK direct (ST 3 page) BUT my humble apologies anyway since I just READ IK's AD for their "Fully Loaded Workstation" at IK, your ARE RIGHT IK itself claims ST3 is a "$349 value" - so both Peace and UNCLE!! blush

http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/promos/?item_id=8323

But right now, as you noted: $59 will get you a "thingambod" (a mini 25 key keyboard - that I'd break in a single day, I have hams for hands so it woudl end up a paper weight) AND FULL ST3

I think that's a no brainier deal no matter what normal MSRP is (or isn't?).

FOR 60 bucks even if you hate IK, IK Authorization, and didn't like ST 2.5 I can't believe someone couldn't find 60 bucks worth of usable/likeable ST3 sounds [plus the bigger ST3 interface is kinder to old eyes (like mine) than ST 2 or Kontakt (when browsing for instruments)]

I fell down the stairs hit my head, then proceeded to come back up
and purchased the 37 key package.

Have any of you made the purchase and received the queue to download
the libraries ?

By the way I feel better, but receiving the software with cure me completely.

Thank you.

Given how ST 2.5 XL came with my iRig Keys Pro last year (I didn't need a 3rd copy)

when I got the HW and registered it, is WHEN I got the 3rd copy of ST 2.5 added to my user area for download

but it could be different now

Frank, I just bought the 37 key too! They say you get your download after you register the keyboard. And I assumed I cannot register until I get the keyboard.

mine arrived...registered it online...immediately got SampleTank 3 in my products area...downloading now...

QUESTION: Is there any reason to also download the SampleTank 3 SE that appeared in my products section?

Now need to download ST3 SE or its sound libraries - unless you just like to watch downloads or want partially redundant ST 3 sound libs (same sounds just fewer, about 75% fewer) .

This is like if you have/had ST 2.5 XL no need to get ST2.5L, XT, or Free libs (same stuff just less or a whole lot less of it)

You're supposed to proof read it before hitting the button, not test the proof by drinking it...<grin>

Well after some number of hours....ST3 with library is functional with
BIAB.

On install, I opted for all plugin types. They were stuck into, methinks 3 places.

My lack of specific instrument variation types leave me in the dark a bit.
The sounds are very good.
A + is the quick abilities to load an instrument.

I'm partial to NI libraries, but have not figured out how to access
its entirety.

Mistake made in purchase was NOT getting the 37 FULL size keyboard.
It was only $20 more. Got the 37 mini.

With shipping was $95.change.

Have loaded bass and a piano with BIAB demo, but didn't think
appropriate to post. This is not a IK site.

No regrets, but no "Snoopy" dances.

Copy/Paste from IK website promo ad for iRigKeys37;

"When you register your iRig Keys 37, you’ll also get a bundle of free instrument collections that you can use to expand your creativity even further. You get The Grid, a collection of cutting-edge electronic construction kit and drum kit sounds plus 5 instrument collections of your choosing from our Beats and Elektronika electronic music series (choose and download from IK User Area).

My user download area is missing the selection for me to choose 5 instrument collections. (All else seems good though). I contacted IK support and waiting for reply. Is anyone else missing these?

I just checked and I seem to have the following new items in my products area,

- SampleTank 3
- SampleTank 3 SE
- AmpliTube Custom Shop
- The Grid
- SampleTank Custom Shop

I downloaded SampleTank 3 but not the others. Should I get those too?

Just noticed SampleTank 3 has a Related Downloads link. I guess I should get those too?

I have always said, "You know when you have too may plugins and VSTs when you got so many you don't know what you got!" When I got to that point I stop buying and downloading.

202 New RealTracks Released with Band-in-a-Box 2026!

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). And for big, bold arrangements, we have uptempo soul horns (4) featuring a three-part hip horn section with options for a full mix or stems of each individual horn — plus an accompanying rhythm section (4) of drums, bass, guitar, and electric piano!

Rock & Pop (Sets 476–482):
Our new rock & pop RealTracks bring a powerful mix of requested favorites, fresh genres, and modern chart-inspired styles! We have more of our popular “Producer Layered Acoustic Guitars (15)” featuring Band-in-a-Box favorite Brent Mason. We’ve continued our much-requested disco styles (10), and added new Celtic guitar (5) with a more basic, accessible approach than our previous Drop-D or DADGAD offerings. There are also highly requested yacht rock styles (17), inspired by the smooth, polished soft-rock sound of the late ’70s and early ’80s — laid-back grooves, silky electric pianos, warm textures, elegant harmonic movement, and pristine production aesthetics. Fans of heavier styles will love our new glam metal (13), capturing the flashy, high-energy sound of ’80s arena-ready guitar rock. We also have a set of rootsy modern-folk rock (18), with a warm, organic sound combining contemporary folk textures and driving acoustic strumming. And we’ve added lots of new modern pop styles (16) — the kinds of sounds you’re hearing on the radio today, featuring exciting new drums, synths, and cutting-edge RealTracks arrangements.

Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.

Check out all the 202 new RealTracks (in sets 468-488)!

And, if you are looking for more, the 2026 49-PAK (for $49) includes an impressive collection of 20 bonus RealTracks, featuring exciting and inspiring additions to add to your RealTracks library. You'll get new country-rhythm guitar styles from PG Music favorites Johnny Hiland and Brent Mason, along with modern-pop grooves that capture today’s radio-ready sound! There are also new indie-folk styles with guitar, bass, 6-string bass used as a high-chording instrument, acoustic guitar, and banjo. Plus, dedicated "cymbal fills" RealDrums provide an added layer that work very well with low-key folky styles with other percussion.

The 2026 49-PAK is loaded with other great new add-ons as well. Learn more about the 2026 49-PAK!
