Larry, no war here! I'm just trying to decide what to do and everyone's input, pro and con of both ST3 and Kontakt, is welcomed.

I agree that Kontakt's factory library is getting old but you can purchase many other patches. I very rarely use the factory libs. Actually most factory libs are cut down versions of a better but more costly sample set.

I totally agree that Dim Pro/Rapture Pro suffer in sound quality. It is good to know that ST3 is better than that!
