My first tip would be "ignore anything any song critic or song expert says and write straight from your heart." I often smile wondering what would have happened if James Taylor has turned in his songs for "song critiques." "Karen she's a silver sun, you best walk her way and watch her shine? I got Carolina in my mind?" Why James that makes no sense at all! And "fire and rain"? I've seen flying machines in pieces on the ground??? No one will no one that means! Show don't tell James!! Show don't tell!!!! Uh huh. That will be my first video.
