Hi, this is
"Balalaïka", an unpretentious ditty that relates the fictional story of Gaston, an unmarried middle-age guy who found a fiancée on the Web and crossed the ocean from St-Pierre to La Rochelle to meet her. But she could be otherwise than the woman he expected... I don't put the french lyrics, not because they used some typical expressions from St-Pierre et Miquelon, but because the summary is sufficient.
If you want to shorten the tune, skip to about 2:30 and listen to the solo of celtic fiddle. I love it, it gives me the desire to dance.
The style is _BLUGRSF.STY where I have kept the basse (RT427), the banjo (RT426), the guitar (RT431), the violon (RT428)
I added the RD Nashville Even8 and the soloist Celtic Fiddle (RT2549).
The best
Pascal
