This has been a tough song to get down . . . I went to doctor and he gave me medicine that makes me a walking zombie . . . This medicine makes me lose focus real easy . . .and sleep . . . A LOT!  Had to start over about 5 or 6 times cause I kept screwing it up. One of the challenges was to get the bass to ride "A" while the rhythm played different notes . . . I finally got it to work. This is me singing . . . I guess you could call it that . . . I'm a drummer, not a singer.  I am posting it with my vocals and intend to post Rob's singing on it as well when he comes up and lays the vocal tracks so you can compare . . . He is going to do it blind for all intents and purposes . . . we will lay his scratch and I'll edit this post to include it . . . Any more the style of music I listen now but I found the tune very efficient and well achieved.

OK, you just lost the ability to make excuses about your singing! That was AWESOME! The vocals are perfect as any could be! The song has all of your usual interesting textures and driving beat!
FWIW, this song reminds me of Deep Purple's HIGHWAY STAR

FWIW, this song reminds me of Deep Purple's HIGHWAY STAR Have to agree that the vocals are killer!! No reason to have anyone redo them. Awesome job with everything!! Take care. Greg

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
