One thing to do is to "Save Song With Patches and Harmonies" and then uncheck the "On" box next to the track you want to exclude. When you save the song, the next time you load it, that track won't play.
Another option is to load the current style into StyleMaker and remove the instrument you don't want. Save it with a different name (so you don't lose the original style) and use that new style for your song.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
