Thanks, Bud. I expected someone would give me a caution to watch where I click.

I've been programming websites since 1994 when it became possible for the public to do so. It's now far worse than just clicking on a link. Anything moused-over on the screen can be a drive-by app taking you somewhere, or more maliciously, loading something surreptitiously. Some of these otherwise-worthy aggregator sites like CNN have become so clogged with visible or invisible ads etc. that they are almost unusable. The question is, how much can they affect an iOS device?

I just thought someone here might know of an iOS virus checker. It may not exist yet, though.
