Sonar works for me.

Actually, any DAW will work well for mixing down. It all depends on which one you like the best, or buy first. I personally, don't have the time or the money to buy every DAW on the market to compare them and see which one I like the best..... I bought into the Cakewalk line and learned how to use it to get things done. I knew a few folks using CW and liked what I saw.
