You might have to use just the bass and drum tracks to get that modern country sound and fill in the other tracks with live instruments.

As I listen to modern country, the Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean stuff, and others, the drums and bass seem to be fairly solid just like most of the music is.... but it's the guitars, piano, and other things that make the difference.

You need to be able to do some creative editing at times with the bass and drums to get totally there. Try some of the praise and worship styles as they tend to be a bit more off the beaten path and have a more modern sound....again.... look at the drums and the bass and try to add the other tracks manually/live.

Then the next question is......are you actually writing in a truly modern country style to start with? That's probably the hardest part of the equation.
