David you should submit this to the Merlefest song writing contest next February.. maybe the topic will resonate with a bunch of Carolina judges.
I like the instrumentation and the chord pattern.

Love it, that chord progression feels so familiar in places, saying that's a good thing. Nice melody, it does flow along, makes you wanna hit replay! Also it has a different sound and that's cool, maybe it's mostly in the vocal, I'll have to listen more. Enjoyed.
