I think it's a beautiful song with a great message, and I love your voice. In my opinion you are a pro! Sorry to say that I still like the parts where your voice sits by itself. You have the star voice, and to my ears it just sounds unnecessary to add more voices when you sing. That's not a criticism, just an observation.

Thanks Pat. Love the input. While I would characterize it far less generously, I will admit to getting all warm and fuzzy hearing that anyone thinks I have a star quality voice. That said, this is a song of inspiration, praise and worship. For the sake of reverence, the real stars in the song are supposed to be the voices representing a chorus of Angels, or perhaps they're other people praying it forward... I don't know, I just wrote the thing.

I did, however, make a concerted effort that when I speak of my own trials, I sing alone, but when I want the prayer to be heard I felt the need to lift up the voices and sing out so that the message is carried for the neighbors, the poor, the sick, the children, etc.
As for any future harmony singing? I'm thrilled to know I don't have to, because I find it rather difficult!
Take care,
