There is some weird behavior with regards to erased tracks. This was also an issue in BIAB 2015.

When I Erase a track using the following method...

The result is the the track does NOT appear to be erased from the mixer, however the notes do disappear from the Notation window for the erased track, and the track is no longer audible. BUT it doesn't visually appear to be erased in the mixer. In the following image, the piano track has been erased, but as you can see it still looks the same as the other tracks.

But aside from it being confusing to not have a visual cue that that track is empty and doesn't need to be bothered with, the issue becomes even more striking when you regenerate the audio. The erased track comes back and is no longer silent.

I don't think that regenerating audio for an Erased track should logically bring back a version of the Erased track. If you reload the Style then it should of course bring back the Erased track. But in a given song project, if you have already loaded a Style and decided to Erase a track, BIAB should remember that fact and shouldn't keep regenerating versions of the song which include that track. BIAB should know that the user has rejected that instrument in the Style for the present song.

And BIAB *does* know that if you replace an Erased track with another RealTrack and then Regenerate the song, that it will NOT bring back the original instrument that was in the Style, but will regenerate the new instrument that you added to the song. That is proper behavior and works as expected.

By the same logic, BIAB should know that a track has been Erased and visually show that in the mixer by replacing the instrument details with a blank field, and should STAY ERASED and not reappear with a Regeneration of the song unless the Style has been re-selected from the StylePicker.

I brought this up with support and was told to bring it up here, so I really hope that the development team can look into this asap along with the StyleMaker/UserStyles issue.

EDIT > I just installed build 127 and the described issue remains.
