I'm looking around in the realtracks by right clicking on an empty track in BIAB and on the Drum track. Other than loops are there any individual percussion sounds. Like cowbell, tambourine etc. I wanted some accents in a song I am doing but don't see any options.

A drum track of an individual sound doesn't really make sense - because a loop will do the job a lot easier.
I made a (user) Drum Track of HandClaps...and offered it up to anyone who wanted it... but, then I realized that creating a Loop of the same thing was a whole lot easier - for me AND the user (whoever wanted to download it).
The cowbell loop works. Why would you need a Drum track for it? Plus, you can add the loop in any track - in addition to a RealDrum. If the cowbell were a RealDrum track, you could not have any other drums (in BIAB). Same with the tambourine.
It is really easy to add your own loops...from anything you've got - tambourines, cowbells, handclaps, etc... creating a DrumTrack is a lot more work...

The reason I wanted to see if there was a DrumTrack of a Tambourine is to add it to the many Folk styles that have no drums in them at all. You answered that question NO, I can stop searching. The question that I should have asked here is are there any STYLES which utilize single percussion instruments. All the other instruments are in the style, I just want to have some Styles with a more open uncomplicated percussion feel. Willie Nelson tours with a Snare Drummer, I'm sure you know that. Many new songs are using minimalist drums. I can hit a cowbell, I can't keep time with one. I'm also a very lousy Tambourine player. I could try to record loops all day long they are going to sound that way. Not being a drummer, I don't own a tambourine, or any other percussion instruments. With the exception of the Hand Clap Instrument, again I would need lessons. I posted another thread that better explains this request?

There are RealDrums that offer a more "subtle" track/feel/sound. You have to audition them all to find them, but it is well worth the time that it takes. It is truly amazing what BIAB offers for percussion - and very few people seem to ever explore what is available.
Try some of the salsa or rumba drum styles for more subtle backing... congas, bongos, etc... try the brushes - they are very subtle.. some of the "train" styles are, too (some aren't).
It takes a really long time to listen to all of them - part of the "cool" thing about them - no one pays attention to how many there are - it's incredible!!! Spend some time in the RealDrum selection dialog...listening to everything... and even then, there will be variations that you miss...
Make an SGU of your song without part markers. Or only part makers at the beginning of your verse and the beginning of your chorus. So you don't get all that "extra" drumming...
There is so much variety in the BIAB drum selections that it is worth the price of the product if you only use it as a drum machine. Like so many other parts of the program, it's a matter of exploring the amazing stuff that they have provided us to use in our music....

Thanks Floyd, I'm listening through all the single instrument loops right now. I will continue to explore the different drum styles. The samba,etc which I have tried, seem to force my songs into a completely different genre. But, some are quite good.

I wanted a simple Conga track along with a Fingerstyle Guitar. If you can find a track that has the sounds you're looking for, you can cut & paste in a DAW to get what you're looking for.
