Melody, lyric and arrangement all work really well.
The effects on your voice were almost overwhelming in the quiet intro - almost had some clipping as well. Once the band kicked in the issue was reduced but I do think you could put your voice, almost naked into the mix and it'd sound fantastic. Ray Thanks for the comments and critique.
