Hi team,
Ever since I installed BIAB (100 GB install) to my disk drive, all my Tyros 5 backup styles in the Documents folder have taken on the BIAB logo. The Tyros 5 styles all have the *.sty extension. I assume this is a normal thing? Are my Tyros 5 styles are still intact? Thanks.

Yes they are. Because BIAB uses the .sty extension too (different type of files, though), the program has associated its icon with all those files. This is a limitation of Windows.

Nothing changed in the style files, it's just a display thing, because .sty files are now associated with BIAB. But it also means that if you double click on the file, it will try to launch BIAB. But your Tyros files agree still Tyros files and even though Windows may try to run them in BIAB, it won't work.
And obviously you can only associate a file extension with just one app. This is the problem you see when filename extensions are commonky named.

Of course, "file associations!" I asked BIAB to create them during the install. Thanks for reminding me John and Noel. The said files are strictly backups for my Tyros 5. When required, I copy and paste them to a thumb drive, and load them into to my Tyros 5. So, I'm good. Thanks.
