And my accomplishments including those musical are due hugely more to perseverance than "talent." Bud, you may have hit on part of the force the makes people in this group different than the statistically "normal" person. The ability to play music is learned over a long period... a lifetime. It requires perseverance. People who learn to do what it takes to meet a goal naturally carry that knowledge into other areas of their lives, and in the end they learn to succeed Or not. What do others think?
