Man this is really cool! Your lyrics and vocals as always are over the top brilliant. The mix sounds a little harsh to me though. I have been struggling with the same since I do rock and roll as well and one of our users pointed me to this tool on a forum posting that has been running the past few days on recording and mixing and mastering. **** A good way to check if you've over-compressed a mix is the TT Dynamic Range meter. https://www.kvraudio.com/product/tt_dynamic_range_meter_by_pleasurize_music_foundationRegards, Bob _________________________ PG Persona non grata. **** I downloaded this tool and have been using it and it is magical. It tells you stuff you won't even get from Ozone, like, what your dynamic range looks like in simple terms. I have decided to put it in my master bus, so when I am eq-ing tracks I can keep an eye on what is going on compression wise during the work flow so I end up with a smooth dynamic range at the end. Just thought that would be of interest. Great song!!
